A study/concept. I thought of an idea to go with this weird new painting style I'm messing with.

The main concern right now is how LONG it takes me to do something of this nature. I know it doesn't look it, but it does take me quite a while.

OH well, either way, I've at least won at creating the creepiest baby-like thing ever.

Every parent who forces their infant child to celebrate Halloween wins at creating the creepiest baby-like thing ever.

I want to do a comic in this style now.

The hand flipping a coin was referenced from an image Bruce Timm (one of my art idols) did of Two-Face. There's also Freakazoid's hand in there. The rest is from photo ref/~imagination~






These took me a lot longer than I'm willing to admit, but a lot of time was spent just trying to find good photo reference (do you know how HARD it is to find good photo reference (well-lit, high-res, varying angles) of ears?!).

My version of Jekyll/Hyde is an anthropomorphic barn owl that takes off his mask/face and sheds his skin to reveal the Mr.Hyde beneath

I'm working on the non-silhouette exploratory drawings now, and certainly am cutting it close to the deadline this time, which I hate to do, but it happens.
