In a stroke of genius, I dug up my wacom tablet's complimentary program disc and uploaded adobe photoshop elements. It's a lot like regular photoshop except hard to navigate, non-customizable, and missing a few key options and tools. Needless to say I won't be digitally painting anything in this program anytime soon, but it gets the job done for simple inks, flats, and cel-shading I suppose. It will tide me over for a while at least.
